The effect of microneedling
The derma pen works with needle attachments, which can contain different numbers of needles. These fine, medical microneedles pierce the top layer of skin (epidermis) and simulate an injury to the skin. This stimulates the skin's self-healing mechanism. The tissue regenerates, the circulation is stimulated and the metabolism and collagen production are stimulated. The result is a gentle rejuvenation of the skin: it is firmer, more elastic and visibly healthier. Active ingredients from skincare products can also be absorbed more effectively by the skin.
The Derma Pen can be used on both the face and body. The penetration depth can be adjusted from 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm. Cosmeticians may work with a maximum penetration depth of 1.5 mm. The speed can also be set manually. The user-friendly handpiece has 5 speed settings and is made of sturdy aluminium. The Derma Pen can also be used cordlessly.

The Derma Pen can also be used for BB Glow and Cherry Lips treatments. Colour pigments are gently worked into the skin using so-called nano needles.
The use of needle attachments
Microneedling is a cosmetic treatment that involves damaging the skin. Therefore, according to the Hygiene Ordinance (e.g. HygV BW §2 para. 3), sterile objects and materials must be used. The needle attachments for the derma pen must therefore be a disposable product. The used sterile needle heads must not be reused after use.
