Microneedling is a non-invasive procedure for gentle skin renewal and rejuvenation.
The effects of microneedling
Microneedling treatment stimulates the skin’s self-healing mechanism. It stimulates blood circulation, metabolism and collagen production. The result is a gentle rejuvenation of the skin: it is firmer, more elastic and visibly healthier. Active ingredients from skincare products can also be absorbed more effectively by the skin.
Thanks to the revolutionary LED light technology, the Derma Pen Germany can achieve even better results, tailored to each individual client. The Derma Pen generates various light colours with different wavelengths. Each of these colours has a unique effect, which addresses a wide range of skin concerns (such as acne or wrinkles).
Green light: Refines the pores and soothes sensitive skin.
Red light: Promotes blood circulation, has an anti-inflammatory effect and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
Yellow light: Tightens the skin, counteracts redness and stimulates lymphatic flow.
Blue light: Reduces and eliminates acne. Blue light also has a soothing effect and is particularly suitable for irritated, oily and blemish-prone skin.
Violet light: Helps with acne-prone skin. It accelerates blood circulation and promotes cell growth and renewal.
White laser light (Soft Light): Has a soothing effect on the skin, promotes the synthesis of proteins and collagen, blood circulation and cell growth. It is particularly suitable for mature skin.
Cyan-blue light: Improves oily skin and combats acne. It also promotes the synthesis of proteins and collagen.
In combination with microneedlingtechnology, breathtaking immediate results in skin rejuvenation can be achieved. This Derma Pen also optimises the BB Glow treatment and enables up to 80 per cent more active ingredients to be delivered into the skin. The Derma Pen can be used on both the face and the body. The penetration depth is adjustable from 0.25 mm to 2.00 mm. Beauticians are permitted to work at a maximum penetration depth of 1.5 mm. The speed can also be adjusted manually. The user-friendly handpiece has 5 speed settings. Furthermore, the Derma Pen can be used cordlessly.
The Derma Pen Germany works with needle modules containing varying numbers of fine, medical-grade microneedles, which penetrate the outermost layer of skin (the epidermis) and thereby stimulate the skin’s self-healing mechanism.
What is the difference compared to other Derma Pens?
With the Derma Pen Germany, light therapy is built directly into the pen. This means you can offer both microneedling and light therapy treatments with the same pen.
How often can a needle module be used?
According to hygiene regulations (for example, HygV BW §2(3)), sterile, single-use products must be used for microneedling, as this is a cosmetic procedure that involves breaking the skin. Sterile single-use materials used for this purpose, such as the needle modules, must therefore not be reused after a single use.
