The soft mat is specially made for patterns made of gel or acrylic . For gel nail art, fill one design of the mat with gel nail polish and press the color into the grooves using a scraper. Then cure the polish under a UV or LED lamp. Then remove the solidified color of the mat with tweezers and place the 3D design on your fingernail and file off the edges there. By painting a top coat and letting it dry, the design is firmly integrated on your nail. For a true 3D effect , use only a thin gel top coat here. For a smooth finish , you can use a thicker gel top coat, or carefully file the surface smooth.

Acrylic nails are lightly pressed on with the mat when wet, so that the desired pattern is in 3D on the nail. For a cool 3D effect, you can now harden the acrylic and leave it like this. Or you can add a second layer of acrylic in a different color over the pattern, dry the nail and file down the modeling so that the top layer of acrylic is only visible as a colored pattern.
