Schülke Octenilin® Wound Gel acts as a protective barrier, cleansing and moisturising colonised, contaminated and chronic skin wounds. It is also ideal for treating second-degree burns.
For rapid healing: The moist wound care promotes the natural healing process, reduces the risk of scarring and ensures a significantly lower risk of infection. It creates an optimal wound-healing environment and also serves to maintain the moisture levels of dressings and wound pads.
Octenilin® also facilitates the gentle removal of scabs. It is painless and is particularly well tolerated. Thanks to the octenidine it contains as a preservative, germs are inactivated directly within the gel, thus creating a protective barrier against invading germs. Excellent inactivation of germs is evident after just 1 minute of application.
The wound gel has a proven track record in the treatment of second-degree burns (with no adverse reactions). It has been clinically confirmed that Octenilin® reduces the frequency of dressing changes and alleviates pain.
The gel is colourless and odour-absorbing.
