How the SHR Germany 3 Wave Ice High Power Laser Pro keeps hair free
Like other hair removal lasers, this diode laser also uses the melanin contained in the hair to prevent the hair from growing in the long term. In other words, the laser energy emitted by the handpiece is absorbed by the melanin in the hair and directed to the hair roots, destroying them. The hair falls out naturally and does not grow back.

What makes the device so special?
Many conventional medical laser devices only work with a fixed wavelength. This has a certain penetration depth and therefore only reaches hair with a certain color and structure. The SHR Germany 3 Wave Ice High Power Laser Pro, on the other hand, emits three different wavelengths simultaneously and combines their advantages to achieve particularly effective hair removal in a single operation:
The 1064 nm wavelength (Nd:YAG laser) reaches dark hair best, as it penetrates deepest into the skin.
The 808 nm wavelength (diode laser) is perfect for thick hair, e.g. on arms or legs, and achieves the best results on darker skin.
The 755 nm laser wavelength (alexandrite) skillfully removes fine and light-colored hairs that are not deeply rooted in the skin.
Two handpieces
The SHR Germany 3 Wave Ice High Power Laser Pro has something else that other medical lasers don't: two handpieces with up to 10,000,000 shots each. The larger spot (12 x 25 mm²) is ideal for treating large areas in the shortest possible time. The smaller 6 x 10 mm² spot is ideal for spot treatment of even the smallest areas, such as the nose.
To make the application as comfortable as possible for your customers, the handpieces have a contact cooling system. This keeps the skin temperature at a constant level and makes hair removal virtually painless.
