Chemical peels are currently more popular than ever before. The Acid Peel BHA from French luxury skincare brand Dermastir is also a chemical peel. The acid peel contains BHA, AHA and peptides and helps with acne, blemishes, blackheads, enlarged pores and regulates sebum production.
The abbreviation BHA stands for "beta-hydroxy acid". Salicylic acid, as BHA is also known, has the advantage over mechanical peelings that it is much gentler on the skin. This means that the skin surface is not damaged. At the same time, collagen synthesis is stimulated. Salicylic acid is particularly suitable for blemishes and oily skin . Impurities are inhibited as soon as they appear and sebum production is also reduced.
In addition to BHA, Dermastir's Acid Peel BHA contains the following AHA acids: mandelic acid, glycolic acid, citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid and lactic acid. The AHA acids support the effect of salicylic acid on the skin's surface. Here they remove dead skin cells, weaken pigmentation spots and make dull skin glow again. The peptides support the renewal and brightening of the skin.
The peeling is an easy-to-apply gel serum that is supplied in 2 individual tins of 4.5 ml each. The innovative double-walled packaging preserves the stability of the acids. An applicator is integrated in the packaging.
Recommendation for use:
Apply one or two coats of the BHA peel to cleansed skin using the applicator. Leave it on for about 5 minutes. Then wash it off with a little water or remove it with a neutralizing toner. We recommend applying Dermastir Sun Protection SPF50 Cream after use.
