Not every laser is suitable for every hair and skin color. With the SHR Germany Diode Laser Pro 4W Model 2025, you no longer have to worry about this. The high-performance laser uses 4 different wavelengths simultaneously and therefore reaches every hair - whether thin, light, dark or thick - on every skin type (according to Fitzpatrick.)
755 nm (alexandrite) is ideal for light and fine hairs.
808 nm (diode laser): is particularly effective on darker hair, e.g. on the arms and legs.
940 nm (diode laser): produces an additional thermal effect that can even treat red hair with little melanin.
1064 nm (Nd:YAG): provides the best results for very dark skin types (VI) and even reaches thick, deep-set hair, e.g. on the bikini line.
The principle is the same as with other laser devices: The laser energy is absorbed by the color pigment melanin in the hair and directed to the hair roots. The resulting thermal effect destroys the hair roots. No more new hair can grow back.
