HIFU is a cosmetic ultrasound treatment for tightening the skin, in which the skin layers are targeted and gently heated down to the depths by specific bundling of high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU = High Intensity Focused Ultrasound). During the heating process, tissue is destroyed and then degraded by the body. This creates the so-called shrinking effect.
