What is the Nuuz One HIFU device?

The Nuuz One is a home HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) device for non-invasive tightening of the face and neck using targeted ultrasound pulses that stimulate collagen production.

Who is the device suitable for?

Basically for healthy, adult individuals who want to improve mild to moderate signs of skin ageing (diminishing firmness, fine lines). If unsure, seek medical advice in advance.

Is there anything I need to consider before using the device?

Yes: remove make-up, clean skin, no open wounds/infections or recent peelings/laser treatments in the target area. In case of medication or pre-existing conditions, ask your doctor beforehand.

Do I need special gel?

Yes - a colorless, conductive ultrasound/HIFU gel ensures good contact and transfer of energy. No gel → no correct treatment.

Should I take a test shot?

Recommended: Before the first application, test on an inconspicuous area at low intensity and observe the reaction for 10-15 minutes.

How often and for how long should I treat?

Recommendation for home use: 1 session every 4-6 weeks, 2-3 sessions in total to build up. Maintenance: every 3-6 months as required. Session duration varies (approx. 20-45 min) depending on zone and number of shots.

What attachments/cartridges are available and for what?

Typical: 4.5 mm (deeper SMAS layer / jawline), 3.0 mm (middle dermis / cheeks), 1.5 mm (superficial dermis / forehead / temples). Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your model.

How many shots per zone?

This depends on the device/manufacturer. As a rough guideline: approx. 1 shot per cm in lines ~1 cm apart. Depending on the treatment concept, different cartridges may be used 2-3 times per zone.
