There are two important abbreviations for safety spectacles - OD and LB. We would like to briefly explain the meaning behind them:

  • OD (Optical Density) shows how much laser light is blocked by the goggles - the higher the value, the better the protection.
    • LB (Laser Blocking Rating) describes the protection level according to safety standards.

The protective effect in detail:

  • 630-660 nm (OD3+, LB3): blocks approx. 99.9% of the light - ideal for standard diode laser treatments
  • 800-1100 nm (OD5+, LB5): blocks approx. 99.999% of the light - very high protection

Thanks to the light transmission of approx. 25%, your vision remains clear while dangerous laser beams are safely filtered out. The length-adjustable temples adapt the goggles individually to any head shape, and the low weight ensures high wearing comfort.
