The D808 diode laser for permanent hair removal works with a fixed wavelength of 808 nanometres and is guided selectively or slightly gliding, based on the SHR gliding technique via the melanin in the hair into the hair follicles in order to permanently damage them by heating them to approx. 65 °C.The installed software is very easy to use. The skin type table is integrated so that the most optimal energy level settings are already pre-installed when the skin type is selected.
Due to the intensive laser light therapy, permanent hair removal is achieved on average with fewer treatments than with all other hair removal methods.
The device can be used to treat all pigmented hairs and almost any skin type (Fitzpatrick I-V) .
The handpiece has a high shot count of 2,500,000 (million) shots.
