Because this diode laser delivers fast results and comes in a practical case format. Perfect for home use!
How does laser hair removal work with the MD808 Pro Smart?
The functional principle of the MD808 Pro Smart is based on the natural color pigment melanin, which is contained in every hair color (except grey/white). The laser beam emitted by the device is absorbed by the melanin and directed into the hair follicle. There, the laser energy creates a thermal effect that destroys the hair root and ends its activity. The hair falls out naturally after a while without growing back.
As laser energy is generally only effective on hair that is in the growth phase (anagen phase), several treatments are always necessary until hair is completely free.
The 808 nm wavelength of the MD808 Pro Smart has a high repetition rate and a high average power, making it particularly effective. Thanks to its medium absorption via the melanin (color pigment), the wavelength makes it possible to treat even darker skin types (I-V according to Fitzpatrick).

Is the treatment with the MD808 Pro Smart comfortable?
The MD808 Pro Smart handpiece has integrated contact cooling, which cools the laser spot intensively. Contact with the skin noticeably reduces the temperature of the area to be treated and makes it less sensitive to pain. The person being treated feels little to no pain.
Handy and compact - a well thought-out design
In addition to fast and highly effective hair removal, the compact and practical shape of the MD808 Pro Smart is the biggest plus point: the lockable lid protects both the device and the handpiece from collisions and dirt. With a height of around 19 cm (43 cm when the lid is open), a width of approx. 26 cm and a depth of 36 cm, the device is extremely space-saving. In addition, the powerful laser weighs just 7.5 kilograms, which makes it extremely easy to transport. These features make the laser ideal not only for home use, but also for mobile services!
The handpiece of the MD808 Pro Smart also has a practical design. The laser spot has a size of 8x15 mm, which can be used for large areas such as the legs, but also for small areas such as the armpits.

Operating the MD808 Pro Smart could hardly be easier: The device has a 4.3 inch touch display that shows you all the information you need.
