How permanent hair removal works with the 4W Diode Laser Model 2 Max
The laser uses the melanin contained in the hair. This absorbs the laser energy and directs it to the hair follicles. The treated hair falls out after laser irradiation and is no longer regenerated by the follicle

The laser uses four different wavelengths simultaneously and can therefore treat any hair that contains melanin (i.e. all natural hair colors except white/grey hair).
The four wavelengths and their benefits:
The 755 nanometer wavelength (also known as alexandrite laser) has a more superficial effect and targets fine and/or light hair that is not very deeply rooted.
The 808 nanometer wavelength (diode laser) works excellently on thicker hair, such as on the arms, legs and beard line. This wavelength also delivers the best results on darker skin.
The
940 nanometer wavelength (also diode laser) enables an additional, focused thermal mode of action that improves treatment results and can be used on (natural) red hair.
The 1064 nanometer wavelength (so-called Nd:YAG laser) enables the best results even with very dark skin and thick, deep-set hair. This makes it ideal for use in the intimate area and on the armpits.
Two modes
To achieve perfect results, the SkinTechBeauty 4W diode laser model 2 Max has two treatment modes: activate the "Smart" mode to adjust all settings yourself, such as skin type (I-VI), hair color and structure, frequency (max. 10 Hz), pulse width (1-200 ms), temperature, cooling level, etc.
Or select the "Expert" mode. This provides you with a skin analysis handpiece with which you can record the area to be treated. Based on these images, the device software then uses AI (artificial intelligence) to give you the optimum parameter recommendations for the treatment. You can of course adapt these to the customer's needs.
Save and save time
As laser energy only works on hair that is in the growth phase (usually around 20% of the hair in the application area), several treatments are always necessary until hair is completely removed. To save time during subsequent treatments, you can save the respective settings under the customer's name. You can then simply skip a new AI analysis or parameter determination.
