Lipstick? An absolute must for many women! Because - whether in a delicate nude or bright red - lipsticked lips make the mouth look fuller, more sensual and simply more well-groomed. But if you don't feel like putting on make-up every day, modern lip pigments are the perfect solution: they not only give the mouth the desired color permanently, but also make the mouth appear more voluminous.
With SEPIA Scarlet, you get a semi-permanent, warm, softly glowing red shade that perfectly emphasizes the femininity of your customers. It is worked into the upper lip layer and conjures up a fresh red tint with a natural-looking shimmer. Shape corrections and contouring can also be created with the PMU color.
SEPIA Scarlet is supplied in a sterile sealed pump bottle to enable particularly precise and hygienic work. This minimizes unnecessary waste and the risk of contamination; and you always have exactly the right amount to hand without wasting a single drop of the high-quality color!
SEPIA Scarlet is cosmetic and medical grade. This means that the color contains safe, ISO-tested ingredients and no alcohol, parabens or heavy metals.
The PMU color from SEPIA also scores highly in terms of durability. It does not dry out quickly and can be easily mixed with other shades. This means you can help several customers achieve their dream mouth at the same time!

Preparation:
- Skin cleansing: The skin around the hairline must be thoroughly cleansed and freed of grease, dirt and make-up residue. A special cleansing product or an alcohol-based cleanser can be used for this.
- Advice: The client should be informed about the process, the desired results and the care instructions after the treatment.
- Sketching: Before pigmentation, the hairline is often marked with a pencil or by pre-drawing to ensure that the result looks symmetrical and natural.
Pigmentation:
- Needle and device: The SEPIA PMU color is applied to the skin using a special permanent make-up device and a fine needle. Very fine needles are generally used for the hairline to create natural, hair-like strokes.
- Technique: The needle is guided along the hairline in short, precise movements to apply the color to the uppermost layers of the skin. Care is taken to ensure that the strokes are applied in the direction of growth of the natural hair.
- Work in layers: Depending on the desired intensity, the color is applied in several layers. It is important to check after each pass whether the color density is sufficient or whether reworking is required.
Aftercare:
- Cooling: Immediately after treatment, the skin may be red and slightly swollen. Cooling pads or creams can help to soothe the skin.
- Care products: The client should use special care products to support healing and prevent infection. A special cream is often recommended to promote healing and protect the color.
- Protection from sun and water: In the first few days after treatment, the treated area should be protected from water, sweat and direct sunlight.
- Follow-up treatment: A follow-up treatment after around 4-6 weeks is often necessary to perfect the result and fill in any color gaps.
Long-term care:
- Refresher: To maintain the color intensity, refresher treatments are recommended every 1-2 years, as the color can fade over time.
