4 in 1 wavelength power for maximum efficiency
Like other hair removal lasers, the SHR Germany 4W KI is also based on the selective photothermal effect of the semiconductor laser. In other words, the laser energy emitted by the handpiece is absorbed by the melanin in the hair and directed into the hair root, destroying it. The hair falls out naturally and does not grow back.
While conventional laser devices work with only one wavelength, or the newer devices with three wavelengths, the SHR 4W KI has even more to offer: a fourth wavelength of 940 nanometers.
The SHR Germany 4W KI combines the various advantages of the individual wavelengths in an advanced way.
The 755 nm wavelength (alexandrite) is ideal for light and fine hairs, e.g. on the upper lip area.
The 808 nm w avelength is a classic diode laser wavelength that also achieves super-fast results on darker hair and skin types.
The 940 nm w avelength (diode laser) provides an additional thermal effect that can even be used to treat red hair.
The 1064 nm w avelength (Nd:YAG) makes it possible to treat even very dark skin types (VI according to Fitzpatrick) and reaches deep-seated and thick hair, e.g. in the bikini area, particularly well.
With the SHR Germany 4W KI, you can quickly and effectively remove all types of hair from cheeks, upper lip, neck, back, chest, armpits, arms, bikini line and legs on all skin types. It can also be used to treat inflammatory skin problems such as razor burn (pseudofolliculitis) or vascular lesions (including angiomas, capillaries, red blood vessels).
