HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a non-invasive cosmetic application in which high-intensity focused ultrasound has a targeted and gentle effect on the deep layers of the skin. The targeted heating of the tissue stimulates the skin layers, creating a shrinking effect. This effect leads to a lasting tightening of the skin.
The ultrasound waves of the HIFU stimulate the body's natural healing and regeneration processes and stimulate the skin tissue. This not only improves superficial skin problems, but also treats deep-seated deficiencies and abnormalities.

An important factor in skin ageing is the loss of fullness and firmness of facial tissue. HIFU technology stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which combats the loss of elasticity in the skin.
HIFU is one of the most effective non-invasive methods for tightening the face and reducing wrinkles. The ultrasound waves act not only on the skin, but also on the SMAS (Superficial Musculo-Aponeurotic System), a fibrous layer under the skin. This tightens the fatty tissue and strengthens the facial muscles.
In the cosmetics industry, HIFU is also colloquially referred to as a "simple, painless facelift" and can be used on various sagging areas of the body. Typical areas of application are the cheeks, eyebrow line, forehead, neck, double chin, décolleté and upper arms.
The HIFU 2D Pro is supplied with 5 cartridges, each suitable for different skin depths:
1.5 mm -> epidermis
3 mm -> dermis
4.5 mm -> SMAS
8 mm -> SMAS & subcutaneous fatty tissue
13 mm -> Sagging skin areas on the body (e.g. upper arms) & subcutaneous fatty tissue
