200x Labo Lanz blood lancets
Indispensable for blood glucose testing!
Blood lancets are disposable products that are used to collect blood. Diabetics in particular need to measure their blood sugar regularly. Mediware blood lancets have been optimized for diabetics in collaboration with research institutes.
In particular, the tip shape has been improved. Thanks to the narrower, shorter tip, the sensation of pain during puncture is reduced and the puncture wound is minimized. This guarantees improved wound healing while still obtaining a sufficient amount of blood for measurement.
The lancets are made of stainless steel spring band and are individually sterile packed. They are ideal for capillary blood sampling at the fingertip or earlobe.
You can also use the sterile disposable lancets to lance milia, comedones and pimples. One pack contains 200 blood lancets, which are intended for single use.

Instructions for the Labo Lanz blood lancets
- Preparation
- Thoroughly clean your hands: Start by thoroughly cleaning your hands. Wash them with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds to remove dirt and bacteria. Alternatively, you can use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to kill germs.
- Prepare the work surface: Make sure your work surface is clean and sanitized. Use disinfectant or sterile wipes to create a hygienic environment that minimizes the risk of contamination.
- Preparing the lancet
- Remove the lancet carefully:
Open the packaging of the Labo Lanz blood lancet and remove a lancet. Avoid touching the tip of the lancet with your fingers to prevent contamination. Make sure that you always hold the lancet by its side to ensure sterile use.
- Remove the lancet carefully:
- Application for skin blemishes
- Choice of skin area:
Decide on the area of skin to be treated. Labo Lanz blood lancets are ideal for the precise treatment of skin blemishes such as milia, spots or comedones. These can be opened using the fine tip of the lancet without damaging the surrounding skin. - Disinfect the puncture site:
Clean the skin area thoroughly with an antiseptic cleanser or an alcohol pad. Make sure that the disinfectant solution dries completely before using the lancet. This helps to prevent infection and skin irritation. - Precise application:
Carefully position the lancet tip over the affected skin area. Apply gentle pressure and puncture the skin just enough to open the blockage or blemish. Be extra careful and use a slow, precise movement to avoid injury. In the case of milia, for example, a small puncture is enough to open the hardened sebaceous accumulation.
- Choice of skin area:
- After the application
- Gently clean the treated area:
After you have opened the skin, you should wipe the treated area again with an antiseptic or mild disinfectant solution to remove any remaining bacteria and soothe the skin. - Disposal of the used lancet:
Throw the used lancet immediately into a suitable container for medical waste or sharps, such as a special lancet waste container. This will prevent injury or the spread of germs.
- Gently clean the treated area:
- Care after the treatment
- Aftercare of the treated skin:
After cleansing the skin, apply a soothing cream or care product that regenerates and protects the skin. Make sure that the product has antiseptic or anti-inflammatory properties to support the healing process. - Clean hands again:
Wash your hands thoroughly after use to remove any residue or germs.
- Aftercare of the treated skin:
Important notes
- Single use:
Each Labo Lanz blood lancet is for single use only. Never use a lancet more than once, as this would significantly increase the risk of infection. - Hygienic handling:
Always ensure sterile and hygienic handling to minimize the risk of infection. Use sterile gloves if necessary and ensure that all utensils are clean and disinfected. - Avoid skin irritation:
Only use the blood lancets on clean and prepared skin. If skin irritation or inflammation occurs after use, stop the treatment and consult a dermatologist if necessary.
With the Labo Lanz blood lancets you can treat milia, pimples and comedones in a targeted and hygienic manner. The fine tip enables precise opening of skin impurities without causing unnecessary skin damage.
