How laser energy gives you permanently smooth, hair-free skin
The laser energy emitted by the SkinTechBeauty 4W Model 7 is absorbed by the melanin (color pigment) contained in the hair and directed to the hair root. Only white/grey hair cannot be treated as it does not contain melanin and cannot absorb the laser energy. Once it reaches the hair root, it is destroyed by the thermal effect of the laser so that no new hair can grow back.
The laser energy only has this effect on hair that is in the active growth phase - also known as the anagen phase. This corresponds to approx. 20 % of all body hair, which is why several treatments are always necessary until complete permanent hair removal is achieved.

The hair and skin color of the respective customer play an important role in permanent hair removal using laser technology. Not every wavelength is suitable for every hair and skin type. The 755 nm wavelength, for example, has a more superficial effect and works on hair that is not deep in the skin and is very fine and light in color.

To make treatment with the heat-generating laser as comfortable as possible for your clients, the handpieces have integrated contact cooling. The laser spot is cooled down to minus temperatures. Skin contact with the handpiece cools the area to be treated locally and makes it less sensitive to pain. Depending on how sensitive your client is, completely pain-free treatments are possible!
As a user, you benefit in particular from two features of the device: the small touch display on the handpiece and the system's three different treatment modes.
The touch display on the handpiece is directly connected to the system. This means that you can set the treatment parameters using the 15.6-inch touch display on the device or monitor and adjust them using the handpiece touch display without having to go back to the device. This ensures greater freedom of movement during treatment.
The advanced operating system of the 4W Model 7 offers you three different modes to use: the expert mode ("SHR STACK"), the intelligent mode ("SHR") and the normal mode ("HR"). In normal mode, you adjust the treatment parameters (energy level and frequency) yourself. In intelligent mode, you specify the treatment area and the customer's skin type. The system then suggests the appropriate parameter settings, which you can adjust at any time if necessary. If you select expert mode, you must set the energy intensity, pulse width and frequency to suit the treatment area yourself.
