In a total of 40 learning units, you will gain comprehensive knowledge of the physical principles and the effects of ultrasound on the skin. Incidentally, 19 of these learning units take place online as e-learning, so that you can learn from the comfort of your own home.
You will also learn everything you need to know about risks and contraindications. You will learn how to plan an ultrasound treatment and what you need to discuss and clarify with clients in advance. You will also be trained on legal requirements, the requirements for operation in accordance with the NiSV and occupational health and safety.
And, of course, the practical part is not neglected. The experienced NiSV instructors will show you step by step, under medical instruction, how to carry out various ultrasound treatments and what you need to bear in mind in practice.

Section 2: Additional requirements for the acquisition of specialist knowledge in accordance with Section 7 (1)
The prerequisite for participation in this module is proof of a license as an exercise instructor with training of at least 120 learning units or at least a C license as a trainer with training of at least 120 learning units or comparable training.

Exemption from the specialist knowledge module "The skin"

Section 3: Equivalence with specialist knowledge module Part B
Successful participation in a training course with the learning content of the module "Fundamentals of the skin and its appendages" is not required if a person
1. has successfully completed a state-recognized vocational training course to become a beautician,
2. has successfully completed a course of training as a state-certified beautician,
3. has successfully completed the master craftsman's examination in the cosmetics trade or
4. has at least five years of professional experience in the cosmetics industry on December 5, 2021
The date on which the respective condition under points 1 to 4 is met is deemed to be the reference date within the meaning of Section 4 (3) sentence 3. If this date is before December 5, 2021, this reference date is deemed to be the reference date instead.
