Teeth whitening using LED lights is a popular tooth bleaching method that is not just reserved for dentists. With the help of three light colors, you can effectively remove yellowish discoloration from your customers' teeth and also reduce infections with the Tooth Bleaching Plus.
How does tooth bleaching with LED light work?
Before the LED light is used, the teeth are prepared with a tooth bleaching gel. This gel contains an active ingredient that is activated by the LED light. The bleaching agents with a low hydrogen peroxide content penetrate the tooth enamel more quickly due to the light and trigger an oxidation process there. Oxidation releases oxygen into the enamel, which breaks down the pigments that give the tooth its yellowish color. In this way, the teeth are restored to their brilliant white.
