The Damask rose is one of the most famous and oldest types of rose. It is valued above all for its healing properties and pleasant, relaxing fragrance. The "queen of flowers", as the rose species is also known, was therefore discovered hundreds of years ago for the beauty world and used in beauty products.
Why? Damask rose has a calming effect on the skin and can reduce skin irritation and redness . At the same time it has a refreshing and nourishing effect, while anti-inflammatory ingredients can counteract swelling.
