With electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), small electric shocks are directed specifically into the various muscle regions, causing the muscle strands to contract. As with intensive training, the muscles are alternately tensed and relaxed again in a fast rhythm - without any effort or sweating!
The handpiece electrodes are given a good shake in the process. To ensure that they remain in place for the entire treatment, where the EMS energy is supposed to work its wonders, they must be fixed in place with a gel pad.
The disposable gel pad has been specially developed for use with EMS devices. The pad is large enough (200 x 75 mm) to give the electrodes a good grip.
Despite the strong adhesion, the pads can be easily and gently removed from the skin after use.
Fix your EMS electrodes in place with the disposable gel pads to ensure that there is full skin contact and that the energy can be optimally conducted to the muscles .
