Working safely with modern eye protection

When carrying out treatments with laser equipment, eye protection is essential, as laser light can cause irreparable damage. High-quality safety goggles, such as the IPL/SHR laser safety goggles (Frame 36), protect both operators and clients from laser radiation. This ensures a safe and comfortable working environment.

Different models of goggles are available for the various wavelength ranges. These glasses provide reliable protection against laser light with wavelengths ranging from 200 to 1400 nanometres. This makes them ideal for treatments using IPL or SHR devices, such as for hair removal.

The green-tinted lenses have a light transmittance of 10 per cent. This means that only 10 per cent of ambient light can be perceived through the goggles. This provides additional protection for the eyes against the strain caused by bright laser light. To ensure optimal visibility whilst working, it is advisable to provide sufficient lighting in the treatment room.

The laser safety goggles come in a one-size-fits-all design, suitable for all head sizes and shapes. Thanks to the lightweight frame, the goggles remain comfortable even during more time-consuming procedures.

When not in use, you can store the glasses safely in the case included in the delivery to protect them from dirt and damage. The enclosed microfibre cloth makes short work of any dirt.
