Chemical peels are ideal for removing dead skin cells from the skin's surface, boosting collagen production and firming the skin. In contrast to mechanical peelings, which contain tiny abrasive granules, a chemical peeling is based on acid, which makes the effect even stronger and improves the skin's appearance in the long term.

The Age Renew Peeling Q from LEVISSIME contains an exclusive combination of three acids: lactic acid (9 %), ferulic acid (3 %) and glycolic acid (10 %). These exfoliate the skin surface, cleanse the skin down to the pores and help to reduce scars, fade pigmentation spots and reduce fine lines.

The glycolic acid contained in the peeling also stimulates collagen production, helping to keep the skin firm and elastic and significantly slowing down skin ageing.

Lactic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), which is also produced by the body itself. In addition to the peeling effect, it also increases collagen production and moisturizes the skin.

Ferulic acid also enriches the peeling with its antioxidant properties, which combat free radicals and effectively counteract the formation of wrinkles or pigmentation spots.
