Needle modules are becoming increasingly popular amongst tattoo artists as they are easy to swap out. Depending on the technique used, different needle modules and configurations are employed. M1 (also MG) stands for Magnum and describes the arrangement of the needles in two rows: the top row consists of an even number of needles, the bottom row of an odd number.
