The needle module consists of 11 needles arranged in a circle, this grouping is known as a Round Liner (RL). They are ideal for drawing precise lines and are therefore particularly suitable for tattoo techniques such as dotwork or fineline. However, they can also be used for all other line work, regardless of the tattoo style. Round liners absorb less ink, so you have better control and can ink small details and lines more cleanly.
Round liners are also suitable for drawing so-called blood lines. These are lines in freehand tattooing that are engraved into the skin without ink. They enable the tattoo artist to keep track of where they left off and where they are going next, even when working over several sessions, for example.
Needle size #10 (0.30 mm) is one of the most common needle sizes, as it releases the color evenly and in a controlled manner. In conjunction with the Round Liner arrangement, this offers an optimum combination.
