How does the cryolipolysis procedure work?
The desired treatment areas are sucked by the cooling applicators by means of a vacuum. Two cooling plates, which are located in the applicator, treat the tissue with up to -10°C. To protect the surrounding tissue and skin, a gel sheet is used, which is placed on the treatment area. This triggers a natural cell death process known as apoptosis. The body then gradually removes the dead fat cells through its natural metabolism.
The fat cells targeted by Cryolipos M are permanently removed from the body, resulting in a significant reduction of fat in the treated area. The cryolipolysis procedure is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, as a fat reduction treatment.
Because cryolipolysis is non-invasive, no anesthesia is required and no downtime is expected. Everyday life can be resumed immediately after treatment.
