How does the SK13 work?
The SK13 works with low-frequency ultrasound. Cold cavitation is a physical process in which vibrations in the tissue generate gas bubbles that implode with high energy and high temperature. This causes the fat cell membrane to stretch and become permeable. The elasticity of the cell membrane decreases and it loses its storage capacity. As a result, this leads to a reduction in circumference.²
The fatty acids then flow into the intercellular tissue and are removed from there via the lymphatic system. The macrophages remove remaining cell fragments.²
The cavitation session should therefore be followed by lymphatic drainage. The device has an additional handpiece for this purpose. The vacuum system supports the removal of the fat emulsion in the tissue.

What should be considered after treatment with the SK13
You can resume your daily routine immediately after treatment. In order to achieve the best possible results, patients are advised to pay particular attention to a healthy and balanced diet, sufficient exercise and plenty of sleep following treatment. This can actively support fat reduction.
At home, the patient can stimulate the fat metabolism in the problem areas with a brush massage and then apply a cellulite cream.

When are the results visible?
In most cases, a reduction in circumference of several centimetres can be seen immediately after the first treatment. The result can be measured with a measuring tape and documented. Photo documentation is also recommended. A total of four to six treatments are scheduled at intervals of 5 to 8 days before a decision is made together with the patient as to whether the desired result has been achieved.
