HIFU is a cosmetic ultrasound treatment for skin tightening, in which high-intensity focused ultrasound is precisely concentrated to (HIFU = High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) heats the skin layers deep down in a targeted and gentle manner. As the tissue is heated, it is destroyed and subsequently broken down by the body. This results in what is known as the shrinking effect.
The HIFU ultrasound waves stimulate the body’s own healing and regeneration processes and stimulate the skin’s entire tissue, so that, in addition to the immediate visual improvement in the skin’s appearance, deep-seated deficiencies and skin abnormalities are treated at the same time.
The fundamental signs of facial ageing are caused by a loss of volume and tissue sagging. In response to the stimulation generated by the latest HIFU technology, the skin produces new collagen and elastin and thus counteracts the loss of elasticity.
Of all non-invasive treatments for facial lifting and wrinkle reduction, HIFU is one of the most effective methods.
