The unusual thing about this file is its interesting shape. Both ends are narrow at different angles and become wider towards the middle. The narrow tips allow you to work with particular precision and shape the nail perfectly.
150/180 is a very fine grit that is gentle on the nail and is ideal for removing gel residue during preparation. The abrasive is still strong enough to shape the top layer of the gel, and hybrid - also known as shellac - can also be removed with this nail file.
To prevent the product from dulling quickly, it has a stearate coating. This prevents sanding dust, which is created during filing, from settling between the abrasive grains and rendering the file unusable.
