The D808 diode laser for permanent hair removal operates at a fixed wavelength of 808 nanometres and is directed either precisely at specific points or with a gentle gliding motion, based on the SHR gliding technique, to target the melanin in the hair and reach the hair follicles, permanently damaging them by heating them to approximately 65 °C.

The installed software is very easy to use. The skin type table is integrated, so that the optimal energy level settings are pre-programmed when the skin type is selected.

Thanks to the intensive laser light therapy, permanent hair removal is achieved on average with fewer treatments than with any other hair removal method.

The handpiece has a high pulse count of 2,500,000 (million) pulses.
