During microneedling, many fine, medical microneedles pierce the top layer of skin (epidermis) and simulate an injury to the skin. To do this, the Derma Pen rosé works with needle attachments that can contain different numbers of needles. The stitches stimulate the skin's self-healing mechanism. The tissue regenerates, blood circulation is stimulated and the metabolism and collagen production are stimulated. The result is a gentle rejuvenation of the skin: it is firmer, more elastic and visibly healthier. The skin's absorption of active ingredients is also improved.

The Derma Pen can be used on both the face and body. The penetration depth can be adjusted from 0.2 mm to 2.0 mm. Cosmeticians may work with a maximum penetration depth of 1.5 mm. The speed can also be adjusted manually. The user-friendly handpiece has 5 speed settings. The Derma Pen can also be used cordlessly.

BB Glow and Cherry Lips treatments can also be carried out with the Derma Pen. Color pigments are gently worked into the skin using so-called nano needles.

Training is not included when purchasing the derma pen.





Instructions for using the Microneedling Dermapen Rose

Preparation

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly:
    1. Before treatment, your hands should be thoroughly cleaned to minimize the risk of contamination.
  2. Cleaning the skin:
    1. Clean the area of skin you wish to treat with a gentle cleanser to remove make-up, dirt and oil. Then use a suitable disinfectant to disinfect the skin.
  3. Sterilize the Dermapen:
  4. Selecting a suitable serum:
    1. Choose a suitable serum for your treatment (e.g. hyaluronic acid for moisturizing, vitamin C for brightening, or an anti-aging serum). The serum is transported deeper into the skin during the microneedling treatment.



Settings and start of the Dermapen

  1. Setting the needle length:
    1. Select the needle length on the Dermapen according to the skin area to be treated and the desired treatment depth.
    2. 0.25 - 0.5 mm: Ideal for fine lines, skin texture and enlarged pores.
    3. 1.0 - 2.0 mm: Suitable for deeper wrinkles, scars and pigmentation spots.
    4. Adjust the needle length accordingly for sensitive areas such as the eye area.
  2. Switch on the device:
    1. Switch on the Dermapen. The Dermapen Rose microneedling device usually has several speed levels, which you can adjust depending on the skin sensitivity and area.



Carrying out the microneedling treatment

  1. Application of the serum:
    1. Apply a sufficient amount of the selected serum to the skin. Make sure that the skin is sufficiently covered with serum during the treatment so that the Dermapen can glide smoothly.
  2. Movements during treatment:
    1. Guide the Dermapen over the skin in gentle, even movements. You can work in circular or straight movements.
    2. Zones: Work in small areas to ensure that each area of skin is treated evenly. Start on the forehead and work your way down the cheeks, nose, chin and neck.
  3. Pressure and treatment speed:
    1. Apply only light pressure. The Dermapen should glide gently over the skin. Too much pressure can irritate the skin unnecessarily.
    2. Treat each skin area 2-3 times, depending on the skin's needs. However, you should be particularly careful with more sensitive skin areas such as the eye area.
  4. Treatment duration:
    - A full facial treatment should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on the treatment area and skin needs.


After the treatment

  1. Soothing the skin:
    1. After the microneedling treatment, the skin will be slightly red. Apply a soothing serum or cooling moisturizing mask to calm the skin. Use products that have been specially developed for sensitive skin.
  2. Skin care after treatment:
    1. Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 24 hours after treatment.
    2. Apply a sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (SPF 50) daily to protect the skin from UV rays.
    3. Avoid aggressive skin care products such as retinol, peels or chemical acids for the first 48 hours after treatment.
  3. Cleaning the Dermapen:
    1. Remove the needle head and clean it thoroughly with water.
    2. Disinfect the needle attachment again with 70% isopropyl alcohol and allow it to air dry before storing it.



Recommended frequency of use

  • For sensitive skin, microneedling should be performed every 4-6 weeks.
  • For specific skin problems such as acne scars or deep wrinkles, the treatment can be repeated every 3-4 weeks.
  • Give the skin sufficient time to regenerate between treatments.

They must not be reused after a single use.
